I started doing the metallic tape shoots almost a year ago. My first suit was not my best but it was definitely good enough to keep me trying. I am so very thankful to the very first model that let me try this art form the first time.

As you may already have noticed, these photos are heavily influenced by Joel Alvarez founder of the Blacktape Project. So yes, your observations are correct. I took some webinars that Joel hosted for almost 2 years before I tried doing one on my own. After a successful first taping the rest is history.
